Services Provided
Since 1992, C-X has been widely recognized as one of the premiere providers of appraisal and consulting services for rural and agricultural properties on the West Coast. Our appraisal and consulting services are tailored to meet a client's specific needs, whether it be for supporting a lending, business planning, or investment decision; to serve as the basis for complex, multi-generational estate planning; or to provide litigation and arbitration support.

Our appraisals are prepared and reported in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and depending on client needs, they can also be prepared to meet Internal Revenue Code, Financial Institutions Reform Recovery and Enforcement Act (FIRREA), Farmer Mac and other requirements.
In order to meet our client's needs, C-X has invested heavily in the development of what we believe to be one of the most detailed, comprehensive databases in the industry. This database includes detailed accounting of comparable sales data, appraised properties, commodity pricing and trends, Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) priority ratings and overdraft statuses, land uses by region and much more. By leveraging our growing database, we are able to deliver a product with a complex, insightful analysis of both the industry and the specific property that is supported by the most relevant and current valuation data. However, no amount of technology can replace the in-field experience of our associated appraisers, gained not only by personally inspecting thousands of properties, but also by owning and successfully operating their own farms or by being raised on family farms. This perspective and knowledge cannot be gained sitting in a corporate office located in a large, metropolitan city.
