Kristin Massetti, ARACertified General Real Estate Appraiser
Kristin has been appraising agricultural properties since 1998. She is particularly focused on the valuation of agricultural properties located throughout one of the most productive and diverse agricultural regions in the world – California's Central Valley. She has appraised a large variety of almond, pistachio and walnut orchards; all types of vineyards, including premium wine grapes, table grapes and raisins; all types of tree fruit and citrus; and all types of open land from irrigated cropland for fresh vegetables to natural grazing land. More recently, Kristin has taken a closer look at the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and it's ongoing impact in the Valley. She continues to track SGMA's ripple effect on all her property valuations, basin by basin and GSA by GSA.
Kristin has performed appraisals for a large variety of clients, including nearly all providers of agricultural lending financing; corporations, partnerships and family-owned operations; major investors including insurance companies; as well as federal, state and local governmental entities. She is highly experienced with performing fully FIRREA and USPAP-compliant appraisals for financing, purchase and sale transactions, estate and tax planning and settlement, foreclosure and bankruptcy, and divorce and partnership dissolution. Kristin holds the professional designation of Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA), which is the highest appraisal designation of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. She graduated from the California State University, Fresno in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business. |
