Statement of Qualifications

Lyle Wilkinson has been appraising real estate in California and several western states since 1983.  He is currently an independent appraiser associated with the firm Correia - Xavier, Inc., an independent real estate appraisal firm specializing in the appraisal of agricultural properties.  Lyle holds the professional designation of Real Property Review Appraiser, RPRA, from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA).  The RPRA designation is awarded to those members who have had years of experience, are technically trained, have passed a rigid examination and subscribes to a high standard code of ethics.  Lyle is certified by the State of California as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, Certification Number AG011877, expiration date September 10, 2009.

  Remarks:    Since joining with Correia Xavier Inc. as an independent contractor, a wide variety of agricultural property types have been appraised but the primary focus has been on ranching/grazing properties.  A majority of the time the last three years has been spent on appraising conservation easements for many different clients varying from individuals to local land trusts to statewide land trusts to national organizations.  Lyle has received the “Certificate of Completion” for successfully completing the “Valuation of Conservation Easements Certificate Program” in February 2008.
