Statement of Qualifications
Lorrain
J. Friant, AFM, CAC has been in the farm management and consulting
business in the Sacramento Valley for the past nine years and is currently
associated with the firm of Correia-Xavier, Incorporated, an independent
real estate appraisal firm specializing in the appraisal of agricultural
properties. Ms. Friant holds the professional designations of Accredited
Farm Manager, AFM, and Certified Agricultural Consultant, CAC, the highest
management and consulting, respectively, designations of the American
Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and the American Society
of Agricultural Consultants, respectively. The AFM designation and CAC
certification are awarded to those individuals who have had years of experience,
are technically trained, have passed a rigid examination, and subscribe
to a high code of ethics. Ms. Friant is accumulating experience hours
to become certified by the State of California as a Certified General
Real Estate Appraiser.
