Senior Appraiser Lyle Wilkinson has appraised real estate since 1983. Over the course of his career, Lyle has appraised and assisted in appraising a large variety of commercial, industrial, residential and agricultural properties in California and several western states. He served as a Senior Review Appraiser for the USDA Forest Service until 2000, and brings with him a unique dimension of appraisal experience.

Lyle has valued some of the largest ranches and foothill properties in the state, located from the Pacific Ocean to the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  Many of his projects involve the valuation of conservation easements, leaseholds, and leased fee interests. He has performed appraisals for a large variety of clients, including local, regional and international lenders; federal, state, and local governmental entities, homeowners’ associations; complex corporate, partnership and family-owned operations; and other major investors including insurance companies, pension funds and REITSs. He is highly experienced in performing fully compliant appraisals to meet lending requirements and Yellow Book standards.  He performs appraisals for a wide variety of purposes, including financing, purchase and sale transactions, estate and tax planning and settlement, divorce and partnership dissolution; and eminent domains.

Lyle holds the professional designation of Real Property Review Appraiser (RPRA) from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA).  He graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Forestry and Range Management.
